Your two-day orientation to UMass Boston will consist of opportunities to meet with fellow new students and current students, a chance to get familiar with the campus and all of the services we offer, sessions on getting involved and succeeding academically, a chance for your family or guest to attend an Orientation just for them, and the scheduling of your first semester courses.

You must attend one of the scheduled academic assessment sessions by the first day of orientation in order to schedule courses on day two. You can view and select the assessment and orientation dates from the drop-down boxes that are listed in the following form.
