Xeroxing Policy

The American Studies Program will pay for xeroxing syllabi and exam materials only. You may leave your syllabi and exam materials in the Xerox box on top of the file cabinets to the left of the mailboxes in the main office.

FOR FALL 2009: Syllabi are limited to 8 pages for xeroxing for your class. We will be xeroxing only enough for the original enrollment. Get newly added students' email addresses and the office staff will email a syllabus to the students. These changes are due to budget cuts: all CLA depts. have had a 50% reduction in their xeroxing budgets.

You must pay for all other xeroxing yourself. Most faculty estimate the costs for the semester and charge students for it at the beginning of the semester (be sure to include this xerox charge on your syllabus under required course materials).

The other alternative is to pay out of your own pocket and keep receipts so that you claim these xeroxing costs as a work expense on your income taxes.
