The Dighton Town Forest

The town forest in Dighton was established in 1924 on 50 acres of land owned by the town, in additon to land purchased by the town specifically for the purpose of establishing a town forest. An additional 50 acres were added several years later.

Approximately 84,500 trees were planted in the forest.
