The Hingham Town Forest

The town forest in Hingham was established in 1923 on 70 acres of land. The town was fortunate in having received valuable gifts of land which were used for the town forest. The town purchased an additional 50 acres of land several years later.

Over 85,500 trees were planted in the forest.
