The Millville Town Forest

The town forest in Millville was established in 1923 on 5 acres of land. The town was fortunate in having received valuable gifts of land which were used for the town forest. Several years later, the town decided to add 245 acres of land that had come into possession of the town through the non-payment of taxes.

Over 130,000 trees were planted in the forest.
