George: I sent the message below to Eric, and just spoke with him by phone. He told me that Ted sold sheep & wood without consent or sharing profits. He didn't know what the value of the property sold. Eric also has some personal property out there, do you? Eric mentioned that you and he had exclusive use of the Stone House, which is about to be rented out to a couple, Eric feels the rent should be paid to you & Eric, do you agree? I will be drafting a letter to atty Singer rejecting Ted's offer, and demanding a sale price of about $68,000 ( $48,000 increased by national CPI since 1989) plus the value of any investments made by you & Eric. Let me know what yuor thoughts are concerning these issues. I will email a copy of the letter I draft prior to sending it for Eric & your approval. Hope all is going well down there. We haven't had much news from Mexico since the Zapatista march to Mexico City. Neil J. Berman

Eric, I just received a letter from an attorney (David J.Singer of Greenfield) representing Ted Haber. His letter includes an offer pursuant to the Agreement from 1989 to pay $48,000.00 and requests that any equipment on the property remain for no additional consideration. I would like to speak with you concerning this offer, and discuss some options available to you & George (I will cc this email to him). Please call me at my office - 617-628-1563. I look forward to speaking with you. Neil J. Berman
